The PTD-CHIRP system, independently developed by Tiandunbj Technology Co., Ltd., is a new generation of shallow-water profiling system. It supports both automatic and manual measurement modes, making it highly suitable for nearshore and offshore geophysical oceanographic survey applications.

The PTD-CHIRP shallow-water profiler is primarily designed for measuring water depth and shallow-water profiles, boasting full ocean depth capability with a maximum penetration depth of up to 170 meters and a stratigraphic resolution of up to 8 centimeters. Furthermore, the PTD-CHIRP shallow-water profiler is equipped with various functions and features, including a Windows operating system, PCI architecture, SEG-Y format storage, DGPS, wave compensation, and sound velocity input.
